Making a difference in the lives of youth with special needs!
UMatter is a program focused on empowering teens to shatter the stigmas surrounding mental health challenges and suicide. It operates within the Daniel B Sobel Friendship House and is led by Rabbi Sholom Kessler. After recognizing a need for a larger discussion about mental health in the Boca community, Friendship House created a teen advisory board to work on projects that will create an atmosphere of inclusion within the high schools and the community.
