Friends @Home
An extraordinary program that provides our children with the chance to bond with their volunteers in a setting in which they are most comfortable, their own homes. Volunteers work with their special friend and their families to establish a schedule that works for both. With so much to look forward to, these visits are cherished by both the children and volunteers.
Sunday Circle
Sunday Circle offers a wonderful opportunity for children to gain from group activities while still receiving one-on-one attention from their volunteers. Activities include sports instruction, music and movement instruction, arts and crafts, Sunday Circle is a two-hour drop off program creating an excellent respite opportunity for parents.
Volunteer
Volunteers make special needs children feel better about themselves by being a friend that genuinely cares about them. Truly remarkable friendships develop between the children with special needs and their new friends.
A volunteer’s commitment and readiness to give of their time reminds us that today’s teenagers are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to bringing a culture change of inclusion to our community.
